Hoag BabyLine

Hoag BabyLine, 949-764-BABY (2229), is answered by an OB Education registered nurse with special expertise and knowledge about pregnancy (before, during and after), as well as baby care and breastfeeding. The BabyLine staff serves as a key resource for new and expectant parents. The Babyline is available to the community Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Hoag Breastfeeding Clinic (After Baby Comes Home)

A one-on-one personalized consultation with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) registered nurse provides new mothers with support, encouragement and answers to questions that commonly arise when their newborn comes home from the hospital. One support person is strongly encouraged to attend. For more information, view our Lactation Support flyer.One-on-one consultation includes:

• Individual attention to your specific concerns

• Help with breastfeeding the difficult nurser

• Nutritional information

• Instructions on pumping and storage of milk

Breast Pump Rentals

OB Education provides a breast pump rental service for mothers needing to use a hospital grade pump for either short or long-term. Contact the Hoag BabyLine 949-764-BABY (2229) for availability.

Maternal Mental Health Program

Our program includes an outpatient clinic where expectant and new moms with various mental health conditions can meet with a psychiatrist, licensed marriage and family therapist or a licensed clinical social worker to receive the care they need or be connected to local resources.
