Bio
Dr. Aviva Alyeshmerni is known by her patients as Dr. Vivi. She graduated with honors in Biological Sciences from Stanford University in 1998 and continued to pursue her Master of Science at Stanford while conducting research at the Stanford School of Medicine. Dr. Vivi then spent two years teaching AP Biology and coaching Cross Country Running at Crossroads High School in Santa Monica, California. In 2005, Dr. Vivi graduated from New York University’s affiliated medical school program at Tel Aviv University, Israel. After returning to the University of California, Irvine, to complete her Pediatric Residency, she spent six months working and carrying out research at the Orthopedic Surgical Hospital of Los Angeles. Since 2009, while working in Orange County, Dr. Vivi has been applying her experience in Sports Medicine as she pursues her passion for Pediatrics. Dr. Vivi ran competitively at Stanford University and is an advocate for movement and healthy lifestyles. Beyond being competitive in 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, marathons and triathlons, Dr. Vivi enjoys skiing, snowboarding, surfing, camping, and hiking. Dr. Vivi, along with her husband, son and daughter, utilize Orange County’s many trails, campgrounds and beaches. In 2016, with a vision of world class preventative pediatric medicine, Dr. Vivi opened Orange County’s first concierge pediatric practice. Dr. Vivi has found a niche in providing 24/7 access to families to optimize health and well being. Dr. Vivi is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Hoag Hospital, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Dr. Vivi volunteers in the classroom to teach children about nutrition and healthy habits. In 2020, Dr. Vivi launched a 20 series podcast with some of OC’s finest pediatric specialists. Dr. Vivi has received numerous honors and awards, including being named Castle Conolly’s Top Doctor since 2016.
