About Dr Dan B. Tran
Bio
Dr. Tran’s journey into medicine began during his teenage years, inspired by his sister’s experience with a rare congenital heart defect. Watching the compassionate care she received left a lasting impression on him and sparked a deep desire to provide that same kind of support and healing to others. During his residency, Dr. Tran had the privilege of learning from dedicated internists who showed him the power of building long-term relationships with patients. Their example helped shape his own approach to internal medicine. Dr. Tran believes that the best care comes from working together. He takes the time to listen closely, educate his patients, and involve them in every step of their care. His goal is to create thoughtful, personalized health plans that empower his patients and support their long-term well-being. Dr. Tran earned his medical degree from Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where he was elected to the national medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha, and completed his residency in internal medicine at UC Irvine Health in Irvine, California. Outside of medicine, Dr. Tran is a classically trained pianist and violinist. He enjoys cooking, baking, exploring new culinary experiences in Orange County, gardening, traveling, and reading.
