Growing up with physician parents, Dr. Zweibach was immersed in the world of medicine from an early age. She admired their ability to make a difference in people’s lives, which inspired her own journey in medicine. That path led her to work as a nurse in a cardiac ICU and eventually complete medical school. During residency, her interest in endocrinology deepened while rotating with endocrinologists. She was fascinated by the way each case came together like a puzzle, revealing how hormones influence how we function, feel, and behave. She also recognized how closely weight is tied to endocrine conditions, which led her to earn certification in obesity medicine (ABOM). Dr. Zweibach finds fulfillment in seeing how small adjustments in treatment can create meaningful improvements in a patient’s daily life, which is a driving force behind her passion for the field. Curious by nature, she approaches patient care as both an advocate and a partner. Her goal is to be a steady source of support, especially for those navigating complex endocrine conditions or managing weight. Dr. Zweibach earned her medical degree from First Pavlov State Medical University in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and is fluent in Russian. She completed her internal medicine residency at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she later practiced as an internal medicine physician. She went on to complete her endocrinology fellowship at Scripps Health in San Diego, California. Outside of medicine, Dr. Zweibach enjoys playing pickleball, spending time with family and friends, and connecting with her community through music on the djembe drums.
