Bio
Through life experiences and education, Dr. Ulanday realized that it’s not just the pathology or science that makes a doctor great, but the support a physician can offer a patient and their loved ones in all phases of life. Dr. Ulanday considers it a privilege to practice medicine and be given the opportunity to assist patients as an advocate to reach their health goals by utilizing evidence based, patient-centered care. He says, “When my patients come to my office, I want them to have trust and confidence in me that I am hearing their concerns and bringing my years of experience and practice to support them.” A beneficial doctor-patient relationship is possible with humility, trust and vulnerability. Dr. Ulanday employs active listening in his practice to understand the values of his patients and what health means to them. He wants his patients to know that he is their partner in making informed decisions regarding their health. Dr. Ulanday received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona and completed his family medicine residency as the Chief Resident at Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance in Phoenix, Arizona. Outside of the office, Dr. Ulanday enjoys spending time with his wife and family and trying new cuisines. Additionally, you can find him traveling and sight-seeing different cultures which gives him insight to how other people live.
