Bio

Dr. Karim Fahmy is a compassionate and highly skilled pain management physician dedicated to helping patients overcome chronic pain and reclaim their quality of life. A graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, where he earned both his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Science in Medical Sciences degrees, Dr. Fahmy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. His extensive training includes a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UC Irvine, where he served as Chief Resident and a prestigious Pain Medicine Fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Fahmy is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as Pain Medicine, and holds specialized licensure in fluoroscopy for advanced procedural techniques. Dr. Fahmy became passionate about pain medicine during his medical school rotations, recognizing that pain is a universal concern affecting patients in every specialty. Building on his strong foundation in the musculoskeletal system, he developed expertise in advanced pain management techniques, including minimally invasive procedures and injections, to provide long-lasting relief for patients. His evidence-based, collaborative approach to care is rooted in a philosophy of treating every patient with the same dedication and compassion he would offer his own family. Dr. Fahmy is committed to advancing the field of pain medicine and is driven by a passion for discovering innovative treatments to improve his patients’ lives. Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Fahmy enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing basketball, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. A natural optimist and lifelong learner, he brings enthusiasm, expertise, and empathy to every aspect of his work, making him a trusted partner in his patients' journeys to better health.
