Bio
Inspired by a deep desire to help others, Dr. Azzam embarked on his medical journey with a transformative experience early in medical school that reshaped his understanding of healing. This moment taught him the critical importance of caring for the whole person which includes body, mind, and spirit. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Azzam is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to each individual. He values forming meaningful, long-term relationships with his patients and sees himself as a partner on their path to better health—whether through preventive care, chronic disease management, or promoting lifestyle balance. Dr. Azzam earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at UCI Health in Orange, California. During residency, he pursued additional training through a sports medicine track, gaining specialized knowledge in musculoskeletal conditions. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Azzam is deeply connected to his community and faith. He stays physically active through his ongoing passion for freestyle soccer. Together with his wife, he embraces a wellness-focused lifestyle centered on balance, nutrition, and overall well-being.
