As a Gastroenterologist, I strive to heal my patients back to their optimal GI health. I use both clinical acumen and state of the art technology to diagnose and treat GI disorders.My initial post-graduate medical training was in England, followed by Gastroenterology Fellowship at the world-renowned Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and the Beth Israel Medical Center. This is where I had the privilege of learning directly from world-renowned medical legends such as Dr. Hiromi Shinya (pioneered colonoscopy) and Dr. Jerome Siegel (pioneered therapeutic ERCP-endoscopic management of bile duct and pancreatic diseases).Expect to get full attention during your office visit. He is also heavily invested in the prevention of colon, esophageal and liver cancers. As an experienced gastroenterologist, he is expert in management of acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, abdominal pain, bloating, gallstones, hepatitis, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, colon polyps, colon cancer, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.Clinical ExperienceDr. Saini has been actively involved in research. In private practice since 1997, he has performed thousands of GI procedures. He was one of the first GI physicians to offer Small Bowel Video Capsule Endoscopy (“pill camera”) to his patients in 2002.Education, Training and ExperienceDr. Saini completed post-graduate fellowship training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine/Beth Israel Medical Center, New York City. In addition, he completed special training in therapeutic ERCP.Dr. Saini is on Active Hospital Staff at Hoag Memorial Hospital, based in Newport Beach, California since 1996, serving as the Department of Gastroenterology Chair from 2012-2014.Additionally, Dr. Saini is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), Medical Director at the Pacific Endoscopy and Surgery Center in Fountain Valley; and active medical staff at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center; both in Fountain Valley, California.PersonalDr. Saini is happily married and resides in Newport Coast with his wife and two daughters. Dr Saini’s hobbies include healthcare technology, international relations, golf and travel.
