Concussions become more common as we age due to factors like balance, agility, and mobility. Learn about the potential causes of concussions, how falls and balance issues can lead to them, the symptoms to watch for, and when to consult a specialist if you suspect you have a concussion. Breath and movement based gentle yoga practice to find ease, calm, inner nourishment, and strength. The class will build balance, resilience, and strength at both the physical and mental levels. Coming together to practice helps us renew and restore health as a community cultivating social support. We will learn the foundations of yoga postures, movements, breath, and meditation. No previous yoga experience is necessary.This class is led by licensed clinical social worker, long-time oncology social worker, and experienced yoga teacher, Nandini Naranyan, LCSW, E-RYT500, C-IAYT.
